LunchboxWax CEO and Founder Debi Lane had years of experience running a multi-service day spa in Sun Valley which included massage, luxury treatments, facials and waxing. In 2008, when the economy wasn’t doing well, spa services decreased, but her waxing services actually increased. So Debi focused on developing a unique yet superior waxing technique that she could teach other estheticians. Her clientele, made up of many vacationers, would rave about the speed-waxing services they received from Lane and her team at this ultra-chic resort. Recognizing a need in the personal care world for a service that focused solely on waxing, Debi started envisioning a wax-only concept salon in 2009.

In 2010, Debi launched LunchboxWax, the state’s first salon entirely dedicated to waxing. The immediate success she experienced allowed her to open a second location in 2012. After a week-long retreat, Debi experienced an epiphany; she really wanted to use this business to empower young women in the beauty industry to become financially independent, successful in business, and proud of their accomplishments, regardless of their background or unique challenges they may have had to overcome.
